The PDR El Criollito Short Gordo features a revised blend highlighting Dominican Criollo 98 tobacco combined with Mexican San Andres leaf. Abe Flores of Pinar Del Rio retained the Ecuador Criollo 98 wrapper and Mexican San Andres binder while expanding the filler to include entubado-rolled Dominican Criollo 98 and additional San Andres tobacco. This configuration delivers flavors of roasted nuts, coffee bean, and sweet cedar with white pepper accents, presented in a medium-bodied profile.

Construction details include:
