Cuaba Cigars

Cuaba Cigars feature double figurado shapes inspired by pre-revolutionary Cuban cigar styles. Produced by Habanos S.A., these cigars showcase traditional Cuban craftsmanship with tapered heads and foots.

Flavor Characteristics

The initial draw reveals pure wrapper tobacco essence before developing fuller filler flavors. Common tasting notes include cedar, nuts, spices, and subtle floral sweetness. The changing ring gauge in figurado shapes causes flavor intensification during smoking.

Historical Background

Launched in 1996 to revive historical figurado formats, the brand name derives from a Cuban indigenous term for combustible bush used in tobacco rituals.

Construction Details

All vitolas use Vuelta Abajo region tobacco. The figurado construction demands skilled rolling techniques, with tighter draws at the tapered ends gradually opening toward the center.
