Hoyo de Monterrey Cigars

Hoyo de Monterrey operates as a Cuban cigar manufacturer established in the 1860s by José Gener. The brand derives its name from its original plantation in Vuelta Abajo's tobacco region, with "Hoyo" referencing the river-adjacent lowland location of the estate. All cigars use long filler tobacco and remain entirely handmade.

Tobacco Characteristics

Hoyo de Monterrey cigars contain filler and binder leaves from Vuelta Abajo's San Juan y Martínez and San Luis zones. The blend incorporates volado leaves for combustion consistency along with seco and ligero leaves for aromatic complexity.

Epicure releases showcase earthy and coffee notes, while Serie Le Hoyo maintains a lighter flavor profile. Both product lines come packaged in cabinet boxes or individual tubes, available for purchase as single units or full boxes.
