Pianissimo Cigarettes

Pianissimo cigarettes are a Japanese tobacco product manufactured by Japan Tobacco Inc. (JT). Originally launched in 1995 as a light variant of Salem cigarettes, the brand became independent in 2004. Marketed primarily toward female smokers, Pianissimo offers 100mm slim cigarettes with standardized specifications of 1mg tar and 0.1mg nicotine per stick. The product line features multiple menthol-flavored variants infused with fruit essences, packaged in quantities of 20 cigarettes per pack and 200 cigarettes per carton.

Notable Pianissimo variants include Pianissimo Peche Menthol One incorporating peach flavor, Pianissimo Aria Menthol combining mint with unspecified fruit extracts, and Pianissimo Petil Menthol blending mild peach aroma with menthol. The Franc Menthol One variant introduces raspberry flavor while maintaining the brand's characteristic low-tar composition. These cigarettes utilize a triple-layer filter system with activated charcoal and menthol capsules to regulate smoke intensity.
