The Highclere Castle Senetjer Cigar commemorates the 100th anniversary of King Tutankhamun’s tomb discovery, funded by the 5th Earl of Carnarvon and led by archaeologist Howard Carter. Crafted in collaboration with the Herbert family, the cigar’s packaging replicates artifacts from the tomb, featuring hieroglyphics translating to “Highclere Castle.” The name “Senetjer” derives from the ancient Egyptian term for incense, meaning “of the gods.”

This limited-edition release uses a high-priming Ecuadorian Habano wrapper paired with a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and undisclosed filler tobaccos aged for three years. The 6¾” x 52 perfecto vitola ensures a slow-burning experience, with only 700 boxes produced globally.

The blend delivers notes of cedar, toasted nuts, and subtle sweetness, transitioning into almond and cream undertones. A smooth draw and even burn characterize its construction. Designed for pairing with aged spirits or champagne, the cigar reflects Highclere Castle’s heritage through its historical inspiration and meticulous production process.
