Foundation The Tabernacle Toro features a Honduran and Nicaraguan filler blend, bound by a Mexican San Andres binder, and finished with a Connecticut broadleaf Maduro wrapper. This 6" x 52 toro is crafted at Tabacalera Fernandez in Nicaragua, utilizing tobacco from AJ Fernandez’s La Soledad farm.
Flavor Characteristics
The initial white pepper notes transition to chocolate, espresso, and nutty undertones, anchored by a raw tobacco base. A sweet finish and smooth retrohale highlight the cigar’s balance of spice and complexity.
Creator Background
Developed by Nicholas Melillo – former La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate production head – The Tabernacle reflects his expertise in Nicaraguan tobacco blends. Melillo’s portfolio includes co-creating Liga Privada No. 9 and Nica Rustica before founding Foundation Cigars.
