The Montecristo Edmundo draws its name from Edmundo Dantes, the protagonist of Alexandre Dumas' novel The Count of Montecristo. Introduced in 2004, this marks the first addition to Montecristo’s core lineup since 1971. Habanos SA developed this 52-ring gauge parejo vitola as their second major release within a 12-month period.

These Cuban cigars feature a tripa larga construction with fully hand-rolled long fillers. The blend utilizes tobaccos from Vuelta Abajo, Cuba’s premier growing region, combining medium to full-bodied leaves. This formulation produces the brand’s signature flavor profile balancing bitter-sweet notes with a tangy finish, maintaining Montecristo’s position as the globe’s top-selling Havana cigar marque.

The Edmundo vitola measures 135mm (5.3 inches) in length with a 52mm ring gauge. Each unit comes packaged in protective aluminum tubes, with this set containing three individually sealed tubos. The airtight design preserves freshness while allowing controlled aging of the handcrafted cigars.
