The Montecristo Edmundo commemorates Edmundo Dantes from Alexandre Dumas' novel The Count of Montecristo. Introduced in 2004, this 135mm x 52 ring gauge parejo became the first new regular-production size added to Montecristo's lineup since 1971. It features tripa larga construction with hand-rolled Vuelta Abajo tobaccos, delivering medium to full-bodied flavors recognized across Habanos SA's portfolio.

Each Montecristo Edmundo showcases a triple cap and oily Colorado Maduro wrapper. The blend produces cedar and cinnamon notes through its first third, transitioning to spiced nuts in the second half. A peppery finish emerges in the final third, maintained by consistent combustion from the densely packed filler leaves.

The aluminum tubos preserve freshness between production and consumption. Three tubes arrive in slide-lid packaging, with each cigar's 90+ minute smoking time making the format suitable for collectors and travelers.
