Cohiba Siglo IV Cigar – Single Tubos

The Cohiba Siglo IV cigar debuted in 1992 alongside five other Siglo variants to mark the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ arrival in Cuba. This Cuban cigar underwent a unique third fermentation process during its two-year maturation period, a method exclusive to Cohiba cigars. The extended aging aims to refine the blend, enhancing flavor complexity. Initially reserved for domestic distribution, the Siglo series became available internationally in 1994.

Flavor Characteristics and Construction

As a Corona Gorda (5 5/8" x 46 ring gauge), the Cohiba Siglo IV shares dimensional similarities with other Siglo series cigars. The flavor profile progresses through distinct phases:

• Creamy sweetness with mild floral notes in initial draws
• Transition to mocha and coffee bean undertones
• Medium-strength tobacco core maintained throughout
