The La Galera Imperial Jade Toro marks the sixth release from the La Galera brand and features a Cameroon wrapper, a first for Jochy Blanco’s creations. The cigar combines a Criollo binder with a filler of Criollo 98 and Dominican Piloto Cubano leaves. Rolled at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, this medium-strength vitola (6 x 52) offers a balanced draw and even burn. Its construction emphasizes structural integrity, leveraging aged Dominican tobaccos for consistent combustion.

The Cameroon wrapper on the La Galera Imperial Jade Toro is notable for its natural oils and subtle sweetness. Beneath it, the Dominican Criollo 98 binder supports a filler blend of Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano tobaccos. The flavor profile transitions from initial cedar and roasted nut notes to secondary hints of cocoa and dried fruit. Mid-smoke reveals earthy undertones with traces of leather and toasted almonds, maintaining a medium-bodied intensity throughout the 52-ring gauge format.

Produced in Blanco’s Dominican factory, the La Galera Imperial Jade Toro uses Cameroon leaf for its oil-rich properties, which contribute to the cigar’s slow burn rate. The Dominican-grown filler tobaccos undergo controlled aging to ensure uniformity in flavor delivery. This Toro’s 6-inch length allows for gradual development of its creamy and spicy characteristics, making it suitable for extended smoking sessions.
