Partagas Capitols Cigar – Tin of 5

The Partagas Capitols uses tobacco sourced from Cuba's Vuelta Abajo region in Pinar del Rio. These cigars come in the Mareva format (5 1/8" x 42 ring gauge) and are packaged in retro-styled metal tins containing five units. The tin design replicates 1970s pocket cigar cases, featuring a pressure-activated lid and vintage branding inspired by Havana's historic Partagas factory established in 1845.

This cigar features a reddish-brown Cuban wrapper with tight seams and visible oil sheen. The blend incorporates binder and filler leaves from Vuelta Abajo plantations selected for their robust intensity. The flavor profile progresses from initial black pepper and mineral notes to secondary cocoa powder and roasted walnut characteristics, maintaining consistent combustion with minimal relights required.

Production Details

Manufactured at the original Partagas factory in Havana, the Capitols forms part of Habanos S.A.'s Línea Retro collection. The production process uses Cuban-seed tobacco varieties cured using traditional methods. Each tin's metal construction provides humidity control advantages for storage compared to standard cardboard packaging.

As a Petit Corona vitola, the 129mm length offers a 45-minute smoking duration. The 42 ring gauge allows balanced airflow through the hand-rolled bunch. Secondary aromas detected include cured leather and baking spices, with a finish marked by subtle espresso bitterness.
