The Partagás Línea Maestra series expands the brand’s portfolio, joining predecessors like the Cohiba Behike (2010), Montecristo Línea 1935 (2017), and Romeo y Julieta Línea de Oro (2020). Following the 2018 release of the Partagás Línea Maduro, this marks the brand’s second line extension. The range introduces three exclusive vitolas: Origen, Rito, and Maestro, each featuring a Cabeza Tumbada (dropped head) design. This style pays homage to the Partagás 109 cigars from historical commemorative humidors and revives a traditional finishing technique last seen in 2015 for the Ramón Allones Hunters & Frankau Aniversario 225 anniversary edition.
Tobacco Origin and Composition
For the first time in Partagás and Habanos S.A. history, all tobacco in the Línea Maestra is sourced exclusively from Cuba’s San Luis region in Pinar del Río. This regional selection preserves the brand’s signature full-bodied profile while adding distinct aromatic complexity through San Luis-grown leaves.
