The Partagás Línea Maestra Origen Single features a Corona Gorda format measuring 6 1/8 inches in length with a 46 ring gauge. Constructed entirely with tobacco from Cuba's San Luis zone in Pinar del Río, this cigar presents flavors of cedar, earth, leather, and coffee with subtle maple undertones. Its medium-to-full body aligns with Partagás' characteristic intensity.
Línea Maestra Collection Context
This release follows premium line expansions by other Cuban brands, including Cohiba's Behike (2010) and Romeo y Julieta's Línea de Oro (2020). The Línea Maestra introduces three new vitolas:
- Origen: 6 1/8" x 46 (Corona Gorda)
- Rito: 6 1/10" x 50 (Double Robusto)
- Maestro: 6 3/10" x 54 (Cañonazo)
Each vitola incorporates the Cabeza Tumbada cap style, a construction technique last seen in 2015's Ramón Allones Hunters & Frankau Anniversario 225 edition.
Tobacco Sourcing Innovation
For the first time in Habanos S.A.'s history, all tobacco in the Partagás Línea Maestra originates from a single sub-region: San Luis in Vuelta Abajo's Pinar del Río province. This geographic specificity enhances aromatic complexity while preserving the brand's traditional blending style.
Packaging and Presentation
The cigars ship in lacquered blue boxes containing 20 units. Each Partagás Línea Maestra cigar displays dual bands - a primary blue band with vitola identification and a supplementary foot band. The Origen variant retails as a single unit with this complete banding system.
