Plasencia Reserva Original Cortez Cigar – Box of 10

The Plasencia Reserva Original Cortez is certified by the Organic Crop Improvement Association as the world’s first fully organic cigar. Grown in Estelí and Jalapa, Nicaragua, its tobacco employs traditional Nicarao Indian cultivation methods. All components undergo a five-year aging process to enhance flavor development.

This Nicaraguan puro features a 5 ¾” x 56 toro format constructed entirely from organic-certified tobaccos. The blend utilizes sun-grown wrappers and binders from Jalapa’s volcanic soil, combined with filler leaves from Estelí’s high-altitude fields. Combustion characteristics include an even burn rate and consistent ash formation.

• Core flavor components: cedar, roasted nuts, and mineral-rich earth
• Secondary notes: unsweetened cocoa powder and dried apricot
• Subtle spice accents emerge in the final third

The cigar’s organic certification ensures no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides were used during cultivation. The medium-bodied profile pairs effectively with light-roast coffee or aged rum. Each box contains 10 individually cellophaned cigars with dual certification seals from OCIA and Plasencia’s internal quality control.
