The Montecristo Edmundo Cigar derives its name from Edmond Dantès, the protagonist of Alexandre Dumas’ novel The Count of Monte Cristo. Introduced by Habanos S.A. as the first new parejo size added to Montecristo’s standard range since 1971, this cigar features a 52 ring gauge and measures 5⅓ inches (135 mm) in length. Each pack contains three handcrafted cigars constructed using tripa larga (long filler) leaves from Vuelta Abajo, Cuba’s premier tobacco-growing region. The blend combines medium to full-bodied tobaccos, delivering a balanced profile of cedar, light coffee, and spice, with subtle almond and citrus undertones.

All Montecristo Edmundo cigars are totalmente a mano (totally hand-rolled), ensuring consistent draw and combustion. The 52 ring gauge provides a slow-burning experience lasting approximately 50 minutes. This format adheres to Montecristo’s signature bitter-sweet flavor legacy, solidified through decades as a global leader in Cuban cigars.
