The Montecristo Linea 1935 Leyenda Cigar commemorates the brand’s founding year, crafted with tobacco from Cuba’s Vuelta Abajo region in Pinar del Río. This line is designed to be the strongest in the Montecristo portfolio, featuring a 6½-inch (165 mm) length and 55 ring gauge, classified as a Maravillas No. 2 vitola. Each box contains 20 cigars, dressed with three bands: the classic Montecristo band, a secondary “Linea 1935” band, and a foot band for protection.

The blend incorporates aged filler and binder leaves from Vuelta Abajo’s premier San Juan y Martínez and San Luis districts, ensuring a full-bodied profile. Flavor notes include cappuccino, dark chocolate, and nutmeg, supported by a core of earthy tobacco. The construction uses a triple-seam cap for an even burn, with smoke output measured at 35-40 cubic centimeters per draw in laboratory tests.

Packaged in gloss-finished lacquered boxes, the Montecristo Linea 1935 Leyenda undergoes a 90-day fermentation process for its wrapper leaves. The cigars are rolled using the entubado technique, creating distinct channels for airflow. Box codes include a UV-visible production date stamp near the hinge, verifying authenticity.
