The Davidoff Yamasa Robusto Cigar represents two decades of tobacco research and cultivation. Master Blender Henke Kelner initiated the project to develop viable tobacco crops in the Yamasa region of the Dominican Republic. Agricultural experts implemented soil enrichment protocols involving manual application of nitrate and calcium to sustain plant growth.

This 4-cigar pack combines multiple tobacco sources:

• Yamasa-grown San Vicente Mejorado Visus wrapper
• Piloto Seco binder from the Dominican Republic
• Filler leaves from Nicaragua's Condega and Estelí regions

The blend achieves complexity through precise fermentation of leaves aged 3-5 years.

Production occurs at the Dominican Republic's Cidaviles factory, where rollers use traditional entubado bunching techniques. The 5" x 50 Robusto format provides a 60-minute smoking duration with notes of roasted nuts and earthiness.
