Master Blender Henke Kelner initiated the project to cultivate tobacco in Panama’s Yamasa region, where soil conditions initially resisted traditional farming methods. Through persistent soil enrichment techniques involving nitrate and calcium hand-fed to each plant, the team achieved viable tobacco growth. While Yamasa-grown tobacco forms part of the blend, the cigar combines leaves from multiple growing regions across the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

Production emphasizes manual precision, from nutrient delivery to leaf selection. The final composition balances Yamasa’s mineral-rich tobacco with Nicaraguan binder leaves and Dominican fillers. This cross-regional approach creates a distinct profile while maintaining Davidoff’s signature construction standards for draw consistency and burn performance.
