The Cohiba Exquisitos is a small panatela vitola, first released in 1982 as part of Cohiba's inaugural commercial line, the La Línea Clásica Series. Produced at Cuba's El Laguito factory, this cigar features a blend of aged tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region. The flavor profile emphasizes earthy tobacco notes accompanied by grassy undertones and roasted coffee bean aromas characteristic of the Cohiba marca.
Measuring 125mm in length with a 37 ring gauge, the Cohiba Exquisitos utilizes a tripa cortado fermentation process for its filler leaves. This technique contributes to the cigar's balanced combustion and layered complexity. The Habano-seed wrapper leaf develops a slightly oily texture after minimum two years of aging, ensuring consistent draw performance.
