Handcrafted by Jochy Blanco at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, the La Galera Maduro Cortador Torpedo combines a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper with Dominican binder leaves. The filler blend utilizes Dominican Piloto Cubano and Criollo ’98 tobaccos aged 3-5 years. This box-pressed torpedo measures 6" x 52 with a closed foot and tapered head.

The La Galera Maduro Cortador Torpedo delivers earthy foundation notes with cocoa powder accents through the first third. Mid-smoke transitions reveal cedar wood tones and leather undertones, supported by a Dominican tobacco core. The final third introduces black pepper spice while maintaining combustion stability.

Construction features include a triple cap for clean cuts and box-pressed sides that prevent wrapper splitting. The torpedo shape concentrates smoke output through its 16/64" draw channel. Tested humidity levels range 65-68% RH in factory packaging.

Packaged in 20-count boxes with Spanish cedar dividers, cigars ship with 69% Boveda packs. Box codes indicate 2022-2023 production dates from Tabacalera Palma’s Santiago facility. Minimum resting period of 90 days recommended before smoking.
