Description

The Montecristo Edmundo Cigar derives its name from Edmundo Dantes, the protagonist of Alexandre Dumas’ novel *The Count of Montecristo*. Introduced in 2004, it marked the first addition to Montecristo’s standard range since 1971. This 52-ring-gauge parejo vitola features a tripa larga (long filler) construction, handcrafted entirely by hand using Vuelta Abajo tobaccos from Cuba’s Pinar del Río region. The blend delivers a medium-to-full-bodied profile characterized by bitter-sweet and tangy notes, consistent with Montecristo’s signature flavor.

Each cigar measures 5⅓ inches (135 mm) in length with a 52 ring gauge, ensuring a balanced draw and even burn. The flavor profile includes cedar, spice, and light coffee, complemented by subtle almond nuttiness and citrus undertones. The box of 25 cigars is designed for preservation, with a hinged-lid format that maintains optimal humidity.
