The Sixty by Rocky Patel commemorates the cigar entrepreneur’s 60th birthday, blending aged tobaccos and extended aging processes. The cigar features a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper with a dark, oily texture, paired with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. These components undergo six years of pre-roll aging, followed by two additional years of post-roll aging to unify flavors.

Constructed at Rocky Patel’s Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. (TAVICUSA) factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Sixty vitola measures 6” x 60. The blend emphasizes depth through its aged Nicaraguan core, while the San Andrés wrapper contributes a chocolate-forward base. Flavor transitions include:

• Initial notes of dark chocolate and espresso
• Mid-profile layers of black pepper and oak
• Final third highlights of cocoa and roasted nuts

The extended aging process ensures a balanced draw, with sweetness from molasses and dried fruit complementing earthy undertones.
