The Plasencia Reserva Original Cortez is the world’s first fully organic cigar, certified by the Organic Crop Improvement Association. Crafted as a Nicaraguan puro, it uses 100% organic tobacco grown in Estelí and Jalapa using traditional Nicarao Indian farming methods. All components undergo a five-year aging process before rolling.

This toro-sized cigar measures 5 ¾ inches with a 56-ring gauge. The blend features an organic Nicaraguan wrapper, binder, and filler leaves cultivated in volcanic soil. Initial flavor profiles include earth and cedar notes, transitioning to cocoa and dried fruit undertones with subtle spice accents.

The construction ensures an even burn and consistent draw, maintained through slow combustion. Pairing options include mild coffee or aged rum to complement the cigar’s natural tobacco sweetness. As a box-pressed vitola, it combines structural integrity with ergonomic handling.
