Tasting Notes
Initial third delivers white pepper and citrus zest through the nose with espresso grounds on the palate. Mid-section develops cocoa powder and almond characteristics. Final third introduces damp earth tones with a lingering sweet cream finish. Smoke output measures 28% above average for this vitola according to draw resistance testing.
Combustion Properties
Independent lab tests show 39-minute average burn time with 0.78" ash retention. The hybrid piloto cubano/corojo filler blend maintains 650°F combustion temperature at 1/2" burn line depth.
The Sumatra Robusto uses a 18-month aged Ecuadorian wrapper combined with 24-month fermented Honduran binder. Nicaraguan fillers from 2017 harvests complete the blend, with all tobaccons containing 84-86% relative humidity during bale storage.
