The RoMa Craft Aquitaine Anthropology combines Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos with a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper. The filler blend includes leaves sourced from three Nicaraguan regions: Esteli, Condega, and Pueblo Nuevo near the Honduran border. A ninth-priming ligero leaf from Pueblo Nuevo contributes smoky, savory notes to the profile.
This 5¾" x 46 Toro format cigar uses an Ecuador Habano Ligero wrapper selected for its thick, oily texture. The Cameroon binder bridges the wrapper’s spicy character with the Nicaraguan filler’s earthy foundation. Combustion remains consistent due to the factory’s layered construction approach, featuring viso and seco leaves alongside ligero components.
- Wrapper: Ecuador Habano Ligero
- Binder: Cameroon
- Filler: Nicaraguan (Esteli, Condega, Pueblo Nuevo)
- Format: Toro (5¾" x 46)
Flavor progression begins with earthy leather and spice, transitioning to dark chocolate and café undertones. Cedar emerges in later stages, balancing the initial intensity. The Aquitaine Anthropology maintains RoMa Craft’s commitment to structural precision, evidenced by even ash formation and steady airflow.
Produced at RoMa Craft Tobac’s Nicaraguan factory, this cigar offers a full-bodied experience distinct from the CroMagnon line’s Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro expression. The Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper amplifies strength while preserving flavor clarity through the final third.
