The La Galera Anemoi Toro Cigar forms part of a regular-production line inspired by the Anemoi wind deities of Greek mythology. Crafted by Dominican cigarmaker José "Jochy" Blanco at Tabacalera Palma factory, this box-pressed Toro size (6 x 52) uses tobaccos cultivated on Blanco's farms. The blend combines Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano filler tobaccos from La Canela with a Corojo binder from Jacagua, wrapped in aged Connecticut broadleaf grown in the Dominican Republic.
Four standard vitolas honor directional wind gods: Boreas (4 3/4"x46), Eurus (5 1/2"x48), Notos (5"x56), and Zephyrus (6"x60). The Toro format represents the complete expression of the Anemoi concept. All cigars ship in 20-count boxes, with construction focused on optimal combustion characteristics through precise bunching techniques.
- Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf (Dominican-grown)
- Binder: Corojo (Jacagua farm)
- Filler: Criollo 98/Piloto Cubano (La Canela)
- Factory: Tabacalera Palma, Dominican Republic
The La Galera Anemoi Toro Cigar employs a dark, oil-rich wrapper leaf aged multiple years prior to rolling. Flavor progression moves from earthy tones to spice and cocoa notes, supported by a balanced draw and consistent burn line. Medium-bodied intensity makes this cigar suitable for extended smoking sessions, with flavor development tied to the interaction between Dominican-grown filler tobaccos and the Connecticut broadleaf wrapper.
