Available in three vitolas – Robusto (5½x50), Toro, and Sixty (6x60) – the series began European distribution in October 2018.

Wrapper and Blend Composition

The Rocky Patel Grand Reserve Robusto features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a slightly oily texture. While the exact filler origins remain undisclosed, the blend combines Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos selected from Rocky Patel’s aged inventory. The 5½x50 format provides balanced airflow and combustion consistency.

Flavor Development

Initial notes of cedar and white pepper transition into mid-smoke flavors of roasted coffee beans and toasted almonds. Secondary layers reveal cocoa powder and caramel sweetness, with cinnamon and nutmeg detectable during retrohaling. The flavor progression maintains medium strength without harshness.
