The Alec Bradley Fine & Rare BC-(13) 4EV (2021 Limited Edition) continues the brand’s experimental approach to blending, using ten distinct tobaccos to create a limited production of 2,500 boxes. Alan Rubin, founder of Alec Bradley, describes the series as an evolving concept shaped by crop years and regional tobacco variations. This Toro-sized cigar (7" x 50) features a Honduran Criollo 98 wrapper from Trojes, paired with dual Nicaraguan and Honduran binders. The filler combines aged Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves selected for structural balance.
Flavor progression begins with toasted oak, espresso, and dark cocoa, transitioning to baking spices and leather mid-profile. A subtle black pepper note emerges on the retrohale, complemented by a creamy texture and natural sweetness from the Criollo wrapper. The combustion consistency and ash retention reflect the cigar’s precise roll quality.
