The Casdagli Brothers of the Sabre Brave Robusto honors Marshal Michel Ney, a Napoleonic-era commander known as “Le Brave des Braves.” Blended by Hendrik Kelner Jnr at the KBF factory, this cigar features Dominican fillers, a Dominican binder, and an Ecuadorian Claro Colorado wrapper. The 5" x 50 Robusto delivers mild to medium strength with creamy, nutty notes, while the larger Piramide vitola uses higher-priming leaves for intensified flavors.
Constructed with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, the Brave Robusto combines Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. Initial flavors include earthy spices and pepper, transitioning to leather and roasted nuts. Mid-profile notes reveal dark chocolate and coffee, balanced by subtle sweetness. The medium to full-bodied smoke maintains a smooth draw and even burn.
- Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano (Robusto) / Claro Colorado (Piramide)
- Filler: Dominican, Nicaraguan
- Binder: Dominican
- Flavors: Pepper, leather, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, coffee
The Robusto’s compact format concentrates flavors, with a 50-ring gauge ensuring consistent airflow. Both vitolas are crafted at Kelner’s KBF facility, leveraging Dominican-Okorom fermentation techniques. The Piramide’s elongated shape enhances complexity through extended combustion.
