The VegaFina 1998 25th Aniversario Cum Laude Cigar is a 6 1/2 x 52 toro extra format with a pigtail cap, a size exclusive to this release. Limited to 5,000 numbered boxes containing 25 cigars each, the boxes double as humidors equipped with a hygrometer and humidifier. Produced at Tabacalera de García in La Romana, Dominican Republic, this edition commemorates VegaFina’s 25th anniversary.

Blend & Construction

The cigar uses an Ecuadorian HVA wrapper over an Indonesian binder. Fillers combine tobaccos from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua. Dominican piloto corona tobacco forms the core, sourced from the upper leaves of piloto cubano plants. The blend mirrors the regular VegaFina 1998 line introduced in 2020.

Dominican piloto corona tobacco undergoes fermentation and aging processes typical of VegaFina’s production methods. The toro extra format ensures a 60-75 minute smoking duration. Boxes feature serialized numbering, with cigars resting at 16-18°C and 65-70% humidity for optimal preservation.
