The PDR A Flores 1975 Gran Reserva Corojo 2006 Purito combines Dominican and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos with a Dominican binder, finished with a Dominican Corojo 2006 wrapper. This blend is part of a series offering four wrapper variations:
- Connecticut Ecuador
- Habano Sun Grown Ecuador
- Maduro Mexican San Andres
- Corojo 2006 (Dominican Republic)
The Corojo 2006 wrapper gives the cigar a deep reddish-brown appearance and delivers earthy, spicy, and subtly sweet flavors. Dominican binder tobacco supports a core blend of aged Dominican fillers, producing medium-bodied smoke with cedar, coffee, and nutmeg undertones balanced by pepper and wood notes.
Despite its 4.5” x 32 purito format, the cigar maintains an even burn and smooth draw. The compact size provides concentrated flavor intensity within a 20-30 minute smoking duration. Construction uses triple-seam rolling for consistent airflow and ash retention.
This release commemorates master blender Abe Flores’ 1975 family tobacco legacy. The line includes box-pressed toro and robusto vitolas alongside the purito. All variants feature Dominican puro filler blends except the San Andres-wrapped edition, which incorporates Nicaraguan seco leaves.
