Description

The Davidoff Master Selection 2012 Toro Cigar features Dominican-grown Yamasá visus tobaccos in its filler, aged in Bourbon barrels. This process contributes to a profile of almonds, milky coffee, and oak wood. Crafted in a 6-inch Toro format with a 52-ring gauge, the blend combines Dominican fillers, a Dominican binder, and an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.

The cigars are produced annually by Davidoff’s Master Blending Competence Center in the Dominican Republic to commemorate the White Band series. Limited quantities are released, reflecting the personal selection of master blenders. Aging techniques and barrel treatment ensure a medium-intensity smoking experience with evolving flavors.

Construction details include a triple-fermented Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and barrel-aged filler tobaccos. Initial notes present creaminess with toasted almonds and cedar, transitioning to dark chocolate and espresso in the second third. The final phase emphasizes earthy richness with subtle woodiness.

  • Key tasting progression: Cream → Almond/Cedar → Chocolate/Espresso → Earthy finish
  • Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
  • Binder/Filler: Dominican Republic

Boxes contain 10 cigars, with production restricted to maintain exclusivity. The blend’s Bourbon barrel aging period enhances sweetness without overpowering the core tobacco characteristics.
