The Royal Return Queen’s Pearl forms part of the fourth release series from ADVentura, a brand co-founded by Swiss sommelier Marcel Knobel and Tabacalera William Ventura’s Henderson Ventura. Inspired by a fictional 15th-century exploration narrative, this cigar features tobaccos aged five years before rolling, followed by a four-month post-roll maturation period. Produced at the Dominican Republic-based Tabacalera William Ventura factory, these cigars are hand-rolled by skilled artisans.
Construction & Origin
Measuring 6 x 44 in a classic Corona format, the ADVentura The Royal Return Queen’s Pearls utilizes an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper noted for its silky texture. The blend pairs this with an Ecuadorian binder and a tri-nation filler combination of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Ecuadorian tobaccos.
Blend Composition
- Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut
- Binder: Ecuadorian
- Fillers: Dominican, Nicaraguan, Ecuadorian
Tasting Notes
The ADVentura The Royal Return Queen’s Pearls Corona opens with white pepper and toasted almond nuances, transitioning to vanilla and honey mid-smoke. Secondary layers reveal baked bread and cedar, supported by floral undertones. The final third introduces caramelized sweetness with nutmeg spice and subtle mineral accents. Its even combustion produces light, aromatic smoke with medium-bodied strength.
Packaged in 20-count boxes, this cigar targets enthusiasts seeking nuanced complexity over intense power. The ADVentura series includes complementary counterparts like the fuller-bodied King’s Gold, offering smokers contrasting profile options within the same collection.
