The Davidoff Royal Release Robusto measures 5 1/2" x 55 ring gauge, sharing dimensions with the discontinued Royal Robusto. This line includes two formats: Robusto and Salomones (8 1/4" x 57), previously offered as Royal Salomones until the 2014 Oro Blanco release.

Tobacco Selection & Aging Process

Davidoff employs Aromatica Dominicana wrapper leaf instead of the Ecuadorian wrapper used in previous Royal editions. The company selected specific bales of Dominican tobacco aged for minimum 8 years before rolling. Each box contains certificates signed by master blender Henke Kelner and the two master rollers responsible for production.

Artisan Craftsmanship

Eight veteran torcedores with 15+ years experience each handcraft these cigars. Collectively, these rollers have produced over 7 million cigars. The construction utilizes aged Dominican filler and binder tobaccos beneath the proprietary Dominican wrapper.

Flavor Characteristics

The blend presents cream and cedar notes with almond undertones. Secondary flavors include leather and dark chocolate elements. Medium-to-full bodied profile maintains balance through the smoking experience, with combustion properties ensuring consistent burn characteristics.

Davidoff packages the Royal Release in 10-count boxes with individual cedar sleeves. This release represents one of the brand's most exclusive offerings since 2014, positioned above standard Royal series in both aging process and artisan execution.
