The Hoyo de Monterrey Monterreyes No.4 marks the brand’s return to the Habanos Edición Limitada series after a decade, following the 2013 Grand Epicure release. This Maravillas No.4 vitola measures 5 3⁄4” (145mm) with a 55 ring gauge, featuring a dark wrapper and tobaccos aged for two years. Rolled in Cuba’s Vuelta Abajo region, the blend uses long-filler leaves to balance Hoyo de Monterrey’s signature light profile with subtle sweetness. Each cigar comes in a varnished slide-lid box of ten.

The Monterreyes No.4 showcases a medium-bodied profile with sequential flavor transitions. Initial draws reveal cedar and floral undertones, followed by creamy textures. Mid-smoke introduces leather and cocoa notes, while the final third emphasizes toasted nuts and faint spice. Its 55-ring gauge ensures consistent airflow, supported by a seamless combustion line and durable ash formation.

As a limited production, this release uses tobaccos exclusively from Pinar del Río’s 2018 harvest. The unbanded design highlights the cigar’s oily Colorado Maduro wrapper, cultivated under tapado curing methods.
