Description

The CAO Bones Chicken Foot Robusto Cigar originates from the CAO Bones series, named after dominoes and dice games commonly played in cigar lounges. Blended by Rick Rodriguez at STG Estelí factory in Nicaragua, it uses a Connecticut broadleaf maduro wrapper and Connecticut shade binder. The filler combines Honduran Jamastran, Honduran La Entrada, Nicaraguan Esteli, and Dominican Piloto Cubano tobaccos.

This 5x54 Robusto features a Honduran wrapper with Nicaraguan and Honduran filler tobaccos. Initial flavors include wood, spice, and leather, followed by coffee, cocoa, and pepper. Mid-smoke transitions reveal mild sweetness and creaminess. The cigar produces consistent smoke output with a steady burn rate and firm ash retention.

Construction utilizes a quadruple-seam cap and packed foot design. The broadleaf wrapper contributes to a slow combustion rate, extending the 54-ring gauge smoking time to approximately 75 minutes. Pairing compatibility extends to aged rums and bourbons with caramel or vanilla notes.
