The Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos released in 2007 features a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper aged in hogshead barrels for five years through natural fermentation. This process develops caramelized sugars in the leaf while maintaining the signature Cuban tobacco blend of binder and filler from Vuelta Abajo plantations. The 4.3" x 40 vitola delivers concentrated flavors of roasted cocoa and espresso with a sweet cedar undertone, transitioning to earthy leather in the final third.
