The Cohiba Siglo IV cigar launched in 1992 alongside five other Siglo variants to mark the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s first encounter with Cuba. Originally withheld from global markets until 1994, the cigars undergo a two-year maturation period. This extended aging stems from Cohiba’s unique triple fermentation process, a method exclusive to Cuban cigar production that enhances flavor complexity. The Cohiba Siglo IV adopts the Corona Gorda format (46 ring gauge x 5 5/8 inches), sharing dimensional consistency with other Siglo series cigars.

This cigar opens with a cream-textured sweetness accompanied by subtle floral notes. The flavor profile transitions into roasted coffee and cocoa bean characteristics, underpinned by a balanced medium-strength tobacco core.
