The Rocky Patel Tabaquero Salomon marks the first collaboration between Hamlet Paredes and Rocky Patel. Paredes, formerly a prominent cigar roller in Cuba, transitioned to working with non-Cuban tobaccos at Patel's Burn Lounge in Florida. This 7.5" x 58 Salomon-shaped cigar features a San Andres maduro wrapper, Brazilian Mata Fina binder, Mexican San Andres binder, and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos aged 5-7 years.

Flavor characteristics include:

The box-pressed Salomon format requires specialized rolling techniques, tapering from a 58 ring gauge at the foot to 38 at the cap. Construction maintains an even burn line despite the variable ring gauge, with a consistent draw across the 90+ minute smoking time. Pairing recommendations include aged bourbon or espresso to complement the cigar's spice and earth components.

This release commemorates Paredes' transition to working with Nicaraguan tobacco, showcasing his adaptation of traditional Cuban rolling methods to Central American tobaccos. The Tabaquero line represents Patel's ongoing collaborations with master rollers, following previous projects with Nestor Plasencia and Omar González.
