The Rocky Patel Quarter Century Sixty commemorates the brand’s 25th anniversary in the cigar industry. Measuring 6 inches with a 60-ring gauge, this cigar features a dark Honduran Maduro wrapper aged for two years post-rolling, complemented by a Nicaraguan binder and a blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers aged for a decade prior to rolling. The larger vitola promotes a slow burn, optimizing flavor delivery.
Constructed with a San Andrés wrapper, the Quarter Century Sixty showcases an oily sheen and seamless roll quality. The core blend combines Nicaraguan tobacco from Estelí and Jalapa with Honduran leaves from Danlí. After assembly, the cigars undergo an additional two-year aging process to refine balance and complexity.
Flavor progression begins with earth, cedar, and black pepper notes in the initial third. Mid-smoke reveals espresso, dark chocolate, and toasted nut characteristics. The final third introduces cream, leather, and baking spice undertones, concluding with an extended finish. Presented in boxes of 20, each cigar represents Rocky Patel’s technical focus on leaf selection and extended fermentation processes.
