Description

The Highclere Castle Senetjer Cigar commemorates the 100th anniversary of King Tutankhamun’s tomb discovery by Howard Carter and George Herbert (5th Earl of Carnarvon). Crafted in collaboration with the Herbert family, the design replicates artifacts from Tut’s tomb, featuring hieroglyphic translations of “Highclere Castle” on its box. The name “Senetjer” derives from the ancient Egyptian word for incense, meaning “of the gods.”

This 6¾" x 52 perfecto vitola uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a high priming grade, paired with a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and undisclosed filler tobaccos aged for three years. The blend emphasizes balance, with a medium-bodied profile featuring notes of cedar, toasted nuts, and subtle sweetness. Construction includes a closed foot for even ignition and a tapered head for focused airflow.

  • Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
  • Binder: Brazilian Mata Fina
  • Filler: Undisclosed (3-year aged)
  • Vitola: 6¾" x 52 Perfecto

Produced as a one-time release, only 700 boxes were made globally. The cigars are packaged in lacquered boxes inspired by Egyptian artifacts, with each box containing 12 cigars. Pairing recommendations include aged spirits like single-malt whisky or vintage champagne to complement the cigar’s nutty and citrus undertones.
