Creator Background
Nicholas Melillo, former Head of Production at Drew Estate, developed this cigar after working on Liga Privada No. 9 and Nica Rustica. The Tabernacle references Melillo’s childhood humidor, which he likened to a sacred space during cigar sessions with his grandfather in Connecticut.
Comparable Cigars
This release shares blending parallels with Liga Privada No. 9 and Nica Rustica, both containing Nicaraguan tobacco profiles Melillo helped pioneer. The Foundation brand launched after Melillo’s departure from Drew Estate, with El Gueguense earning a Cigar Aficionado Top 25 spot prior to The Tabernacle.
