The ADVentura The Royal Return Queen’s Pearls Robusto features an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper with an Ecuadorian binder. Its filler combines tobaccos from Ecuador, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. The leaves undergo five years of aging before rolling, followed by four months of post-roll aging to enhance flavor development. Produced at the Tabacalera William Ventura factory in the Dominican Republic, this 4½ x 50 cigar represents the second installment of ADVentura’s fourth release series.
Construction and Blend Characteristics
The Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper provides a golden hue and silky texture. The tri-nation filler blend integrates Dominican leaf for creaminess, Nicaraguan tobacco for structure, and Ecuadorian secos for aromatic complexity. This configuration creates a medium-bodied profile with balanced combustion properties.
Flavor Progression
- Initial Third: White pepper, almond, and floral honey notes
- Mid-Third: Vanilla, shortbread, and citrus zest emerge
- Final Third: Caramel, cedar, and light spices transition into a creamy finish
The combustion consistency allows flavor transitions without harshness, maintaining a cool smoke temperature. The ADVentura Queen’s Pearls Robusto contrasts with bolder expressions in the Royal Return series through its emphasis on refined sweetness and textural smoothness.
