The ADVentura The Royal Return King’s Gold Corona Cigar is the fourth release from the brand founded by Swiss sommelier Marcel Knobel and Henderson Ventura of Tabacalera William Ventura. Inspired by a fictional 15th-century exploration narrative, this cigar features tobaccos aged for five years before rolling, followed by a four-month post-roll aging period. Handmade at the Tabacalera William Ventura factory in the Dominican Republic, it measures 6 inches in length with a 44-ring gauge.

Construction and Blend

The Corona vitola utilizes a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The blend incorporates aged Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, with a Dominican binder. Combustion consistency is maintained through a razor-sharp burn line, producing firm ash throughout the smoking experience.

Flavor Development

Initial notes present bold spice, black pepper, and cedar aromas. The first third reveals dark chocolate, espresso, and roasted nut flavors balanced by the wrapper’s natural sweetness. Mid-smoke transitions introduce leather, oak, and molasses nuances accompanied by peppery retrohale sensations. Final stages intensify with cocoa, charred wood, and caramel undertones persisting through the finish.
