Standout Varieties

Black Russian

The Black Russians live up to their reputation. The Turkish/Oriental tobacco blend delivers a rich, slightly spicy smoke that develops as you smoke. At nearly $85 a pack, they're a splurge, but the quality is evident in every puff.

Cocktail

These colorful cigarettes are more than just pretty. The flavor is surprisingly balanced - not as sweet as you'd expect from the appearance. They burn slower than most Sobranies, making them good for longer smoking sessions.

Super Slims

While slimmer than traditional cigarettes, these pack more flavor than most slim varieties. The White version offers a cleaner taste, while the Black has more body.

Smoking Experience

Sobranie's use of charcoal filters and specialized papers (LSS technology) creates a noticeably smoother draw compared to standard cigarettes. The smoke feels cooler and less harsh, especially in the Russian varieties.

That said, the nicotine hit can be deceptive. Many Sobranies feel mild at first but deliver a strong buzz by the halfway point. The Black Russian in particular creeps up on you.
